Welder (class 1 – B+A-)

Prepare, read and interpret welding plans or instructions;

Use manual or semi-automatic flame arresters;
Use soldering devices;
Use various tools such as a hacksaw, bending machine, press, etc.;
Operate the machinery occasionally for the movement of materials and equipment;
Assemble and adjust metal sections;
Align the parts and weld the steel elements;
Adjust machinery and equipment;
Execute different welding methods;
Perform carpentry, plumbing or small mechanical work, on occasion;
Travailler à l’extérieur ;
Participate in the design of various equipment;
Order inventory materials and supplies;
Collaborate with the mechanical department;
Be available to travel on different contracts and to work on weekends if necessary;
Participate in various special projects other than with the welding department (building repairs, etc.).
